Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, Sunday 11th December
Denby’s Christmas Market is being held over two long weekends at the beginning of December including Friday, 2nd December and Friday, 9th December
Opening times are 9am-5pm and on Sundays 10am-4pm.
Entry and Parking are FREE
The stalls are under cover in a huge marquee and will have a vast array of handcrafted and artisan ideas and treats for all the family. Many stalls will be different over the two weekends so not to miss out a visit on both weekends is highly recommended.
There will be a wide variety of Christmas Gifts created by local independent craftspeople including: jewellery, greetings cards, Christmas decorations, food delicacies, fused glass artwork, prints and paintings, fashion, wood-turned pieces and leather goods and much more.
There will be plenty of choice to eat and drink in the Courtyard with a tempting hog roast by the Greedy Pig Butchers, hot meals in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro as well as hot drinks and snacks situated in the Denby Farm Shop to eat in or takeaway. Project D will also be selling their amazing doughnuts and local charities will be selling their merchandise in the Courtyard.
The Denby Craft Studio will be open (10-4pm daily) if you are feeling creative and the Denby Gift Emporium is stocked with Christmas gifts including traditional children’s puzzles, toys and endearing bears and characters. You can also select your Christmas tree and hand-made wreath from the Denby Garden Stall.
The Greedy Pig Butchers are still taking Christmas orders until Sunday 4th December. Also, the Farm Shop & Deli will have their fine meats, pies and tasty quiches and much more produce from local food suppliers. For a personalised gift you can create your own hamper mixed with Denby’s iconic tableware and cookware from the wide selection in the Denby Store and don’t forget those extra plates and baking dishes for the festivities. Also available will be a selection of quality wines from Laithwaites together with local ales and gin from White Peak Distillery.
Denby Pottery Village has a full programme of activities taking place leading up to Christmas and Santa will be calling – as he’s very busy at this time of year and in order not to be disappointed, please book your children in to see him in advance on https://denbypottery.digitickets.co.uk/
