About the 35th joyous annual assault on your spare apple crop which we help you chop, scrat and press to delicious juice, to the accompaniment of music and Morris Dancing. There will be children's games and craft activities and a sopecialist apple nurseryman will be in attendance. No charge, but donations needed. Helpful but not essential to bring your own chopping knives and board and containers for your juice.

There will be bags and bags of apple pulp available for composting. The Boat Inn will be doing a roast and purveying cider. A great event nto attend with or without apples. Children LOVE to get involved with the beam and rotary presses. We take careful safety precautions and have never had a serious accident but please be responsible for your children. In the event of rain we will persevere under cover so far as possible. Event originated and supported by Scarthin Books.
