Heanor Happy Café is a welcoming space for anyone interested in happiness and wellbeing. Why not challenge yourself to give something new a go this November? Our "New ways November" Happy Café session is all about being curious and trying out new things to help support our wellbeing. There will be a variety of guest speakers and taster workshops to enjoy:

Jason Todd from the Art of Brilliance will deliver a keynote full of humour, energy, enlightened thinking and good old-fashioned common sense. The Art of Brilliance aim to remind you how to be your best self and to make brilliance become a habit.

Angel Rays Therapies will be giving a Reiki Demonstration. Reiki is often translated to mean ''universal life energy''. Angel Rays Therapies deliver holistic therapies for Mind, Body and Soul.

Herbal happiness and handmade delights will be talking about the advantages of Aromatherapy and Essential Oils in supporting our wellbeing. There will also be some products for you to sample.

Lotus Tai Chi and Exercise will share some accessible exercises and movements to help improve our health and wellbeing at a gentle pace. Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that can help reduce stress and improve our posture and balance.

The Tub Hub - Ripley will give an introduction to the ancient ritual of Cold Water Immersion and how this can benefit our physical and mental health.

Gemma Gwen Armes will lead a relaxation taster session including grounding techniques and a mini body scan. Gemma holds spaces to breathe, create, move, talk & be.
