If you love model trams the David Gould layout will be operating in the Great Exhibition Hall and will show a range of tramcars not represented in the full scale tramcar collection on the following dates:
Sunday 14th April
Sunday 16th June
Sunday 7th July
Sunday 13th October
On 14th April and 13th October the Museum will allow visiting model trams to operate on the layout (track gauge 2⅝ inches) but please note this is not a test track for uncompleted models, but a visual performance for visitors. If you are interested in bringing a model tram to operate on the layout on either 14th April or 13th October, please contact John Huddlestone for an application form by email: huddlestoneja8@hotmail.com
There will also be Robert Whetstone Tatra layouts in operation on Sunday 19th May and 21st – 22nd September 2019.
