Situated at No1 Jessop Street, The Codnor Inn is the last of the Mining public houses in the Village. We serve local real ales as well as wines and spirits, we also host traditional pub games and also have SKY Sports and BT Sports shown on three Televisions. There is a weekly Meat Raffle that is supported by Paul Walker Butcher of Ripley. The resident TV star called 'little Wilf' who appeared on the BBC 1970's show called 'Sailor'. Sailor was based on HMS ARK ROYAL which followed the ship and crew on a deployment to the USA along with other exotic ports of call. The pub boasts the 'split' supporters, Derby County and Nottingham Forest. On Derby day we hoist both team flags outside the pub as well as match day 'snap' is available. The banter is thick and fast but friendy.
Our vision is to support our community and visiting patrons. We are warm and welcoming Pub, and dog friendly.
