We are a team of people who provide care to those who need it in their own homes. Supporting Solutions is a Amber Valley based service. We are registered with the Care Quality Commision to provide home care and social support to you if you are an older person, if you have a physical disability, or if you need support with your mental health or you have a learning disability. You can purchase our flexible service privately or with your allocated social care budget or direct payment.
We can help you daily, weekly or just from time to time. Here are some examples: we currently provide Elizabeth who is an older lady with three visits a day, for one hour each. We help her to take her medication, eat a hot meal, use the bathroom, in the evening we help her bath before going to bed.
Sarah looks after her older Father who lives alone, she visits him daily. When she goes away on holiday Sarah asks us to call in daily for half an hour to check he is well, collect his food shopping and keep the house clean and tidy.
Megan is a young lady with a learning disability who lives with her parents in Amber Valley, she has a social care budget and a personal support plan. We spend 6 hours a week spread over 7 days helping her access activities she likes such as swimming, horse riding for the disabled and her favourite hobby visiting local charity shops, she had three 1-1 workers who she feels safe with.
Are aim is to provide our locally community with care to stay at home and engage in meaningful activities. We strive to provide this care with dignity, positivity and purpose. Please contact us to find out how we can work with you or your family.
