Established in 1994, Sporting Futures engages with hard to reach and vulnerable young people through sport.
Working in some of the most disadvantaged neighbourhoods in the county, the charity has worked with thousands of young people, developing their confidence and teamwork skills, giving them opportunities to participate in regular activity and helping them to engage in their local communities.
Partners have recognised the importance of the work we do and, alongside Derbyshire Constabulary, Derbyshire Sport, local authorities and private businesses, projects and programmes have developed and expanded.
Sporting Futures Trustees and Management Committee members have enabled this work to develop but recognise that there is much more to do.
