East Midlands Freestyle provide relaxed, friendly and fun martial arts tuition to adults and children of all abilities. We offer various training programmes including an adults academy session, a non-contact children's programme and a fitness based boot-camp. We have training sessions around Derbyshire including Danesmoor, Newton, Stonebroom, Tibshelf and Tupton. Beginners are more than welcome to attend.
Our children's kickboxing programme has been developed specifically for ages 5-11 years and benefits all children, enhancing their health as well as their emotional and social development in a safe environment. The programme offers a rewarding incentive based syllabus and provides a much more fun and enjoyable hobby than traditional martial arts. Children's training sessions incorporate a wide range of martial arts activities and games, this ensures the child remains focused and interested whilst learning new techniques and drills.
The East Midlands Freestyle Academy is suitable for older children aged 11+ to adults, and is great for fitness where you can easily burn 500 calories or more! Adult training sessions are more focused on martial arts techniques, padwork, sparring and cardio routines. At both the adults and children's sessions you can also progress through the syllabus to black belt and beyond. There are no expensive memberships fees and training is simply held on a 'pay as your train' basis.
