The Pub People Company from South Normanton bought the freehold in early 2008 and major investment has followed to create the Denby Lodge you can enjoy today.
The new look has been carefully thought out to retain the traditional pub features whilst providing a fresh, modern appearance where you can enjoy eating, drinking and socialising… a place worth travelling for!
Clearly the quality and choice of food is very important as is the level of service. Our team is committed to delivering on all three counts.
We continue to uphold our reputation as a steakhouse serving meat that has been hung for 28 days and is sourced from farms in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Our fresh fish is delivered from Grimsby and the specials board which accompanies the menu has a selection of fresh seafood as well as other homemade dishes.
As well as a renowned menu and daily specials board The Denby Lodge has an excellent range of cask ales, including Marston's Pedigree and a local beer from Amber Ales based in Ripley. Serious thought has gone in to our wine menu which we hope you enjoy.
We do enjoy regular patronage and would recommend table reservations for the evenings particularly at the weekend. Large parties and celebrations are most welcome at Denby Lodge and we are able to cater for any special requirements to make your event memorable.
