We specialise in: Family Mediation Our family mediator is Aileen Chapman who has been qualified since 1997 to deal with all types of family disputes and is accredited by Resolution and the Legal Aid Agency. Our mediator can conduct direct consultation with children as part of our mediation service. We have been approved to carry out Legal Aid work in mediation since 1999. Family Law Our family department helps people with all aspects of divorce and separation including arrangements for children and financial settlements. Our family solicitor is a member of the Advanced member of the Law Society Family Panel. Domestic and Commercial Conveyancing.
We are one of the few firms in Amber Valley accredited under the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). We operate an online real time case tracker system where clients at anytime can check on the progress of their own sale/purchase. We deal with most other aspects of both domestic and commercial property law including transfers of equity, leases, remortgages, etc. Personal Injury Claims We deal with accident claims resulting in personal injury on a no win no fee basis. Wills and Probate We advise on anything from simple wills to complex tax planning arrangements and can often work on a fixed fee basis.
Our probate solicitor is an accredited member of Solicitors For The Elderly and can help people sympathetically through the probate process. We also deal with Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Applications and trust work. Employment We offer advice on employment disputes such as unfair dismissal and compromise agreements.
