Fraud warning for Amber Valley residents
We have been made aware of a potential fraud targeting Amber Valley residents claiming to be from Amber Valley Borough Council.
Residents have reported that they have received a standing order form through the post from the council requesting their bank account details. The Amber Valley Borough Council would not usually send a standing order form. If you receive any form through the post asking for your bank account details, please check with the council and contact the customer services team as soon as possible by calling 01773 841440 or contact them via their website at www.ambervalley.gov.uk/contact-us.
