Illuminations for Half Term at Crich Tramway Village
The ever-popular Starlight Event at Crich Tramway Village, with illuminations and trams running into the early evening, runs from Monday 28th October to Saturday 2nd November 2019.
Children can enter a draw on the Monday between 2pm and 4pm for a chance to win the opportunity to officially switch on the illuminations at around 5.15pm.
There’s a packed programme of activities each day, with fun for all the family, which includes musical outdoor shows, craft making and look-a-like characters from popular children’s films.
Events Manager, Candi Bell, said: “Crich Tramway Village will be transformed into a magical place with entertainment from dusk, the chance to see the Village illuminated and trams running in the dark. Visitors are advised to bring a torch if they want to experience the enchanted forest walk”.
As Halloween descends, Thursday 31st October is themed ‘Wizards and Villains’ and children aged 4 to 15 who dress as wizards or Halloween characters get free admission on this day.
Sunday 3rd November is the last day of the 2019 season, when National Lottery players who purchase tickets between Monday 28th October and Saturday 2nd November, can use them to gain free admission at Crich Tramway Village. These can be for any National Lottery game including scratch cards for that week.
The new season will open on Saturday 14th March 2020 with more exciting events planned for next year. Gift vouchers are available for admission tickets.
