Man named after fatal motorcycle collision in Pentrich
A motorcyclist that was killed yesterday in a collision in Pentrich has been named.
The incident, involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a Riley RMA Saloon, occurred on the B6013 Chesterfield Road at around 2.15pm on Sunday, May 13.
Robert Baker aged 30 from Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, was transported to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car, a 66-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and is being treated in hospital.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have been released under investigation.
