Sarah Millican to return to Derby Arena with Late Bloomer Tour
Comedian Sarah Millican is set to return to Derby in 2024 to treat audiences to her latest hilarious anecdotes after the success of her previous three visits to the city.
As Sarah’s current tour, Bobby Dazzler comes to an end later this year, The Late Bloomer Tour follows hot on its heels, and will visit Derby Arena on Sun 23 Mar 2024.
When Sarah Millican was a bairn, she wouldn’t say boo to a goose. She was quiet at school, with not many friends and no boobs ‘til she was 16. Now? Now she is loud, with good friends, a self-described ‘cracking rack’ and goose booing all over the shop.
The show explores how the underdog becomes the confident and vibrant person Sarah is today; filled with stories of painful adolescence we can all relate to. Expect lots of discussion of dinners and Lady Gardens.
You may have seen Sarah before, but with her naturally funny personality and quick wit, you’re bound to be laughing your socks off. This brand-new show features new material, so prepare to laugh at her, laugh with her and beside her.
The show is the first to be announced for the Spring 2024 programme for Derby LIVE, but be sure to check the website next year for more announcements. If you’re looking to fill your social calendar with more comedy, Jimmy Carr will bring his Terrbily Funny 2.0 tour to Derby Arena on Sun 21 May 2023.
Priority tickets for Sarah Millican’s Late Bloomer Tour are on sale now. General booking opens on Wed 14 Dec from 10am. Tickets can be purchased on the Derby LIVE website, at the Sales and Information Centre Guildhall Theatre, Market Place, Derby, DE1 3AE, or by calling 01332 255 800.
