Information from Amber Valley Borough Council regarding the £150 energy payment
Important announcement from Amber Valley Borough Council regarding the £150 energy payment.
The Borough Council fully understands that those residents in Council Tax bands A to D who have not yet received their £150 energy payment, are anxious to receive the money as quickly as possible.
Residents who pay their Council Tax by direct debit will already have received the payment direct into their bank account.
For residents who do not pay by direct debit, the Council is working as quickly as possible to put in place a new system to enable the payments to be made.
This has required new software to be acquired so that bank accounts can be validated in order to prevent fraudulent claims, which has taken longer than we would wish. However, the Council will continue to keep residents updated via its website, and anticipates that the on line application form will be available towards the end of June.
For those residents who do not have access to the internet, alternative means of applying will be available
