Free, used office furniture to Derbyshire schools, charities and community groups.
Following the reorganisation of office spaces, Derbyshire County Council are offering free, used office furniture to Derbyshire schools, charities and community groups.
The furniture which includes desks, pedestals and bookcases, is available on a first come first served basis after office spaces at County Hall, Chatsworth Hall and John Hadfield House in Matlock were re-organised to support a more flexible approach to delivering our services.
Any Derbyshire schools, community groups or charities who are interested in collecting some furniture can complete an expression of interest form.
Complete an expression of interest form
You will then be sent a copy of the disclaimer which will need to be signed when collecting the furniture. Paper copies of the disclaimer will be available on the day. Completing the expression of interest does not guarantee that the furniture will be available on the day of collection.
Anyone collecting furniture will need to ensure that they arrive in a suitably sized vehicle and are able to load furniture into the vehicles themselves as we are unable to help with moving and loading.
Furniture is available to collect from:
John Hadfield House
135 Dale Road
Matlock
DE4 3RD
on the following dates:
- 17 May between 2pm and 5pm
