Developer gives new peek inside homes as Derbyshire housing development moves into second phase

Published on Tuesday 27 April 2021

Peter James Homes has revealed new artist impressions of interiors at its Woodlands Heights development as Phase 2 of the project gets underway.

The developer has released the computer-generated images to coincide with the launch of a new sales cabin and viewing platform at the site in Bullbridge.

This month also marks the first opportunity for the public to fully reserve plots in Phase 2 of the 22-acre, 148-home scheme nestled in the undulating Derbyshire countryside between Ambergate and Crich.

Phase 2 consists of 12 homes, including the four-bedroom Rowan and the development’s most popular home, the Abingdon - another four-bedroom detached house, which is set over three floors, with integral garage, spacious open-plan kitchen-dining-living area and luxury fixtures and fittings.

The newly launched interior images – showing glimpses of the Rowan and Abingdon for the first time - highlight the light and airy, open-plan designs of the new homes, along with their high-quality fixtures and fittings.

The new Covid-safe sales cabin, which has divider screens, hand sanitising stations and controlled capacity, is now open for prospective buyers to book appointments in advance, through sales agent Bagshaws Residential.

Kerri Bywater, of Bagshaws Residential, said: “Woodlands Heights is in such a beautiful setting, with homes designed to complement the environment and create a distinctive village atmosphere.

“Yet it’s got such great access to cities like Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield that it’s attracting all types of people who want to live in the countryside but not have a long commute to work.”

To maximise the visitor experience, Peter James Homes has also opened a new viewing platform to allow people to experience the full extent of this stunning site overlooking the picturesque River Amber.

Tom Anderson, site manager of Woodland Heights, said: “This development has everything. The artist impressions give a really good feel for what our Rowan and Abingdon homes will look like on the inside, but the site really needs to be witnessed first-hand to appreciate its incredible location.

“I would urge anyone considering a move to take a serious look at Woodlands Heights as soon as possible, as we’re already seeing a steady stream of people at our new sales cabin.“

The sales cabin is making use of a 55” touchscreen to enable visitors to take a 360-degree virtual tour around the development and some of its homes.

The first properties in the development are expected to be completed by September this year. Released property prices range from £280,000 - £510,000.
