DISCOVERY DAYS: Water and Wildlife Walk along the Bonsall Brook
Location: Meet outside the Mill Shop ready for a 10.30am start (approx. 1.30pm finish)
Cost: £6– Limited places, advance booking required.
Enjoy a circular walk along from Cromford Mills, along the Bonsall Brook and discover the old mill sites powered here in the 18th Century. The return walk involves a steep climb out of the valley for some amazing views and descending down Cromford Hill back towards the mill.
The paths can also be muddy and slippery after wet weather. To navigate the terrain please wear suitable clothing / footwear and carry a drink with you.
The Discovery Days Festival (Saturday 26th October – Sunday 3rd November) celebrates the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site with activities taking place all along the valley from Derby to Matlock Bath.
