Wildlife Trust launches new training programme to the public
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust wants everyone to love looking at, identifying, reporting and recording the wonderful wildlife in Derbyshire, so they’ve put together a training programme to take you from beginner to quietly confident.
The training is at beginner’s level and given by either Derbyshire Wildlife Trust staff or friends of the Trust, all of whom wish to share their passion. Each day-long workshop is a mixture of indoor and outdoor activity held at the Trust’s Middleton HQ in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, with fieldwork taking place nearby.
You don’t need any previous experience or expensive kit – you just need to have an interest in wildlife and a zest for knowledge! All training is £35 per person per day. Places are strictly limited to maximise the learning experience. If you would like to take part, please book on to the course by calling the Trust on 01773 881188.
Our first workshop is Beginners Spring Bird ID on the 22nd April. See www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/whats-on for details.
