Suspected stolen power tools are recovered by police in Belper
Police in Belper are asking residents who may have had tools stolen to contact them after a number of items have been recovered.
More than 20 items, suspected to be stolen, were seized during a warrant on Chestnut Avenue, Belper, on Friday, April 19.
Although a number of items have been identified, police are trying to trace the owners of some of the tools, which include a large steamer, drills, saws and attachments.
A 26-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following the warrant, and are currently on bail pending further enquiries.
Anyone in the local area who has had any power tools stolen recently, before the Easter period, should contact PC James Shaw on 101, the non emergency number for Derbyshire police.
