Heanor and Loscoe Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team 3 month policing priorities.
The officers in Heanor and Loscoe Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working alongside the local community to set policing priorities for the next three months.
This is Anti-social behaviour and youngsters gathering at Heanor Memorial Park, the Tesco store, Heanor Retail Park and Market Place.
Actions to be taken are as follows:
· Increased patrols to the area to speak to and advise youngsters.
· Deliver letters to inform parents of any youngsters found to be causing a nuisance.
· Work with Amber Valley Borough Council to implement a Section 30 Dispersal Order for the area.
· Consider and set up Acceptable Behaviour Contracts for any persistent troublemakers.
· Consider organising diversionary activities for local youngsters.
· Work with other agencies to consider the possibility of a skate park area for local youngsters.
· Liaise with local schools and offer advice on anti-social behaviour.
