Appeal for owners of recovered jewellery found in Loscoe to come forward
Police are appealing for the owners of items of jewellery and old bank notes recovered from a house in Loscoe to come forward.
Officers recovered the items from a house in High Street, Loscoe, as part an investigation into a burglary on Heanor Road, Codnor on Saturday, April 14.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The recovered items include a gold bracelet with ‘Stephen’ engraved on it, a gold ring with the letter ‘S’ on it, some collectable old Bank of England notes in £1 and £10 denominations, jewellery boxes and a wallet.
Police believe the items may have been stolen in burglaries around the Heanor, Loscoe, Codnor and Ripley areas.
Anyone who recognises any of the recovered items should contact PC Richard Howiss on the non-emergency number 101.
