Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team 3 month policing priorities
The officers in Belper Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working alongside the local community to set policing priorities for the next three months.
Anti-social behaviour and nuisance vehicles at the Coppice car park, River Gardens and the surrounding areas
Actions to be taken are as follows:
- Regular patrols to speak to youngsters and drivers in the area, and advise about the issue.
- Issue Section 59 Warnings and seize vehicles where necessary where drivers are found to be using their vehicles anti-socially.
- The parents of those causing problems will be contacted and informed of their children's behaviour.
- Further action to be taken against any persistent troublemakers as appropriate.
We are very keen to encourage new people to come along to the meetings and welcome anyone who would like to discuss local problems.
