Crich Tramway Village - Signals Music Festival Cancelled
We are so sorry to announce that Signals Festival have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Music Festival due to take place at Crich Tramway Village on Saturday 11th June 2022.
Although Crich Tramway Village is currently partially open, some significant areas, including the Tram Depots, Exhibition Hall and indoor play area, remain closed and as a result, none of the vintage trams will be in operation by 11th June 2022, due to safety issues.
The Signals Festival organisers stated:
“Access to the entire site and full Crich Tramway Village experience is integral to our SIGNALS Festival offer, and we do not want to deliver a sub-standard event that doesn’t meet expectations. We are deeply sorry for the disappointment caused to all those who planned to attend or have been involved in the festival and for any disruption caused to your plans.
SIGNALS Festival was postponed by a year due to Covid-19, and as a small Festival, it is unfortunately not viable for us to do this a second time around. All ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket agent and issued a full refund. Thank you for your support and understanding at this time.”
Crich Tramway Village, General Manager, Dr Mike Galer said:
“We take safety very seriously at the Museum and we have opened the areas which are no longer under a safety restriction to visitors.
“Since we cannot operate our trams and still have some areas closed, we are offering a discounted day entry price for adults and offering free admission to children. Those visitors wishing to purchase free return tickets may still do so at our standard prices, so that they can return when all areas are fully accessible again.
We are sorry that Signals Music Festival will not now go ahead for this year, and we hope that this will be re-scheduled for the future.”
