Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team three month policing priorities
The officers in Kilburn Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have been working alongside the local community to set policing priorities for the next three months.
These are
Road safety issues around schools and throughout the general area, including speeding and parking.
Actions to be taken are as follows:
- Police patrols to affected areas, especially around schools.
- Advise motorists and carry out speed checks, with enforcement if necessary.
- Work with schools to encourage safe and responsible parking at start and finishing times.
- Help educate youngsters about road safety.
Anti-social behaviour at all recreational areas within Kilburn, Denby, Holbrook and Parks Estate.
Actions to be taken are as follows:
- Increased police patrols
- Speak to and advise young people of anti-social behaviour issues.
- Seize alcohol from any underage drinkers.
- Take appropriate action against those found causing anti-social behaviour or damage.
- Encourage residents to report anti-social behaviour to us.
We are very keen to encourage new people to come along to the meetings and welcome anyone who would like to discuss local problems.
