Witness appeal after man assaulted in Pinxton
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Pinxton last Friday.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 5pm on 18 September, in Wharf Road outside the Pinxton Miners Welfare club.
A 33-year-old man is understood to have been assaulted by another man during the incident.
The victim required hospital treatment for his injuries which include a fractured eye socket and cheek.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was in the area around this time and may have information that could help officers with their enquiries, is asked to contact Detective Constable Craig Chidlow.
