Appeal for witnesses after three people are allegedly assaulted in Heanor

Police are appealing for information after two men and a woman were allegedly punched and kicked during an incident in Heanor.


An argument broke out between a group of people in Thorpes Road shortly after 11pm on Friday 15 May.

It is alleged that two men, aged 35 and 49 and a 37-year-old woman were assaulted. It is said that they were punched and when they were on the floor, kicked to the head.

One man suffered cuts and bruising to his face. The other man suffered pain in his shoulder and leg and well as cuts and bruising. The woman had facial bruising.

Two 18-year-old men and one 19-year-old man have been arrested, along with a 17-year-old boy. They have been released on bail while inquiries continue.
