Video conference for NHS public trust board meeting on 4 June
The next trust board meeting of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust will be run as a video conference which members of the public are invited to join on Thursday 4 June at 1.30pm.
The video conference, which includes an option to dial-in for those not online, replaces the usual face-to-face meeting, in line with public health advice on physical distancing to help limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Anyone is welcome to join the virtual meeting either online or via phone. The joining details are here:
- Join Microsoft Teams Meeting
- Or dial 020 3321 5208
- The conference ID is: 803 166 81#
Members of the public who join the conference will be able to follow the business of the trust board. The meeting papers are being shared online in advance: http://www.dchs.nhs.uk/home/about/the_board/board-meeting-agenda-and-papers
Prem Singh, trust chairman, said: “As an organisation we take our public accountability very seriously. In view of the restrictions on public gatherings to help fight the spread of coronavirus we are putting these virtual conference measures in place to ensure we continue to conduct our business in a spirit of transparency.”
Members of the public who would like to ask a question for response during the trust board’s formal business can still do so. Questions should be submitted in advance to Melanie Curd, associate director of corporate governance/trust secretary, via email: melanie.curd@nhs.net, tel: 07584 475972 or write to Melanie at Babington Hospital, Derby Road, Belper, DE56 1WH.
Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust runs services at many locations in Derby and across the county, listed on the trust’s website: http://www.dchs.nhs.uk/home/our-services
