Library Drop In Events Cancelled
In response to the latest government advice, Derbyshire County Council have taken the decision to cancel the remaining public consultation drop-in sessions in relation to the consultation about the future of their care homes.
The sessions were due to be held at:
- Alfreton Library, Friday, 20 March 10am – 1pm
- Clowne Library, Monday, 23 March 2pm – 5pm
- Borrowash Library, Friday 27 March 10am – 1pm
- Shirebrook Library, Friday 3 April 10am – 1pm
DCC apologise for the inconvenience but remain committed to helping people have their say on the proposals and are working on creating alternative ways for people to give their views. They will ensure people are kept fully informed.
There are lots of ways local people can continue to give us their views including online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/care-home-review
They can also email their comments to telladultcare@derbyshire.gov.uk or write to the Stakeholder and Engagement Team, Adult Social Care, County Hall, Matlock, DE4 3AG. Residents can also call 01629 531307 to request a paper copy of the consultation questionnaire.
Anyone unable to use any of these options or for those who would like the opportunity to have a discussion with a member of staff please call 01629 531307 or email telladultcare@derbyshire.gov.uk to book a telephone consultation session.
The consultation closes on 24 April 2020 and all comments must be received by that date.
