Amber Valley retail and town centres study
Amber Valley Borough Council has recently commissioned consultants (Stantec) to undertake a retail and town centres study for Amber Valley, on behalf of the borough council. The study will form part of the evidence to support the preparation of policies and proposals in the new Local Plan.
The study includes a telephone survey of a representative sample of the borough’s population to establish shopping habits. This work has been sub-contracted by Stantec to NEMS Market Research Limited, who are an established and reputable company with extensive experience in this type of work.
Any members of the public who receive a call from NEMS should expect to be provided with full details of who the company are and who they working for and why, so as to provide reassurance that the telephone survey is genuine. However, anyone who receives a call and has any concerns should contact the borough council’s planning policy team either by email at ldf@ambervalley.gov.uk, or by telephone on 01773 841584.
