Sounds of the Motor City head to Derby
Derby will be Going Loco this summer as a 60th anniversary celebration of the music of the Motor City heads for the railway city. Tickets are now on sale from Derby LIVE for the Magic of Motown 2020, which steams into Derby Arena on Friday 10 July.
This unstoppable show has been seen by over a million people, including Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
New for 2020, this year’s show marks 60 years since the start of Motown, the record label that defined a generation.
Derby Arena is the perfect venue for a trip down memory lane, enjoying classic hits from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, The Supremes, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, The Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson and many, many more.
The talented singers and musicians will perform classics such as Reach Out, Heard It Through The Grapevine, Mr Postman, My Girl, Stop In The Name of Love, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough and more, in an energetic and breathtaking show.
