Derbyshire Launch Christmas Card Competition
Primary school children in Derbyshire are invited to enter Derbyshire County Council’s Christmas card competition.
The competition is open to all primary school children who live in Derbyshire and the council is looking for a colourful, original and fun Christmas picture.
The winning design will become the county council’s official e-Christmas card and the winner will get a family ticket for a local pantomime.
Twenty four runners-up will be chosen and their entries which will posted on the council’s social media throughout December to mark advent.
Derbyshire County Council Leader, Councillor Barry Lewis said: “This is a great opportunity for primary age children to get arty. I’m really looking forward to receiving some brilliant Christmassy pictures.
“I’d encourage all primary pupils to take part and be in with a chance of having their work shared across the county.”
The competition closes on 17 November.
