Officers in Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire, Derbyshire Dales and Amber Valley
Derbyshire Police Safer Neighbourhood policing teams in the Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire, Bolsover, Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales and High Peak areas are getting out and about to raise awareness of hate crime in their communities next week.
National Hate Crime Awareness Week runs from October 12 to 19 and will be marked by the force with a number of events and activities across the county.
Our officers will be raising awareness of the law and helping people to recognise hate crime, with the main aim of encouraging victims to speak out and not suffer in silence.
Residents will be able to get advice and information about hate crime and the support available.
