Special Events in September at Crich Tramway Village 2019
Autumn may be upon us but there is still a variety of events on offer at Crich Tramway Village, with something for everyone.
Sunday 8th and Monday 16th September will add the Sheffield horse tram to the operating tramcars. This tram was built in 1874 and is one of the oldest exhibits at Crich, but here is your last chance of the season to ride on it for an additional £1.00 per person between 11am and 4pm.
Steampunk Weekend on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September is an event full of fun with alternative history combining science fantasy. Enjoy live entertainment, games, a treasure hunt, fire breather, magic and competitions for the children.
It is 60 years since the Tramway Museum Society set up the Museum at Crich and you can join in the 60th anniversary celebrations and marvel at what has been achieved over the years on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September. Enjoy rides on many different trams and a vintage bus, guided tours, cine film shows, tram models running, live music, plus face painting and balloon modelling for the children.
Full priced tickets offer free return within 12 months (subject to opening dates and excluding World War II events).
Open daily at 10am until Sunday 3rd November 2019. For more details and closing times Tel: 01773 854321 or visit www.tramway.co.uk
