Italian cars coming to Heage Windmill
Last year for the first time we had a rally of Italian built cars visit the windmill and their sheer ‘dash and sparkle’ attracted large numbers of enthusiasts and visitors. We are delighted to again welcome members of the Abarth East Midlands & T.I.M UK Motors group to Heage Windmill on Sunday 14th July, from 11am until about 3-00 pm .There will be a wide assortment of cars on show including Fiat, Maserati, Ferraris and Lamborghinis and there will be an award made to the best Car on Show. We understand that this year there will also be some motor bikes and maybe the odd American car on show. We can expect a wide range of ages, sizes and colours to be displayed, with the flair that has made Italian cars so famous.
The mill will be open from 11-00am, with the last guided tour at 3-30pm; We will be operating our now well known Bric a Brac and other stalls,
Two old sails from the mill are on the ground, giving the opportunity to see them in much greater detail than is possible when they are in position.
The windmill will be open during 2019 (11-00am to 4-00pm) every weekend from
April 6th until the end of October. Large, free, car park!
Guided Mill Tours Charges for 2019
Adults £4-00 Concessions, including Gold Cards £3-50, Children (5-16) £2-00 (parents can buy one and get one free for children in the same age group) Children under 5 are free.
Organised Adult parties of up to 10 people - £50-00. For each additional person £5-00 is payable).
School Parties and other children's groups -Standard charge of £40.00 for up to 28 people (contact Lynn on 01773 715177)
