Special Events at Crich Tramway Village 2019
There is a great programme of events for the 2019 season at Crich Tramway Village and the summer brings a variety of events with something for everyone.
Beside the Seaside brings traditional seaside fun to Derbyshire. Take in the Punch and Judy shows, the Flea Circus, Circus Workshop, have a go at creating seaside crafts and let the kids get their faces painted. There’s a funfair each day (additional costs for rides) Download the daily programme from the website.
If you loved the 1950s and 60s, Vintage Weekend on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June brings music and activities from these decades to Crich.
Horse tram days on Sunday 30th June and Monday 15th July will feature Joseph the Shire horse pulling the Sheffield 15 horse tram, built in 1874. Rides on the horse tram cost £1.00 per person, and you’ll experience a real step back in time.
Marketing Manager, Amanda Blair said: “Summer at Crich Tramway Village is packed full of a variety events – there’s something for everyone to enjoy, along with rides on our vintage trams and our amazing Woodland Walk and Sculpture trail.”
