Mayor's Charity Fundraising Dinner success
The Mayor of Ripley, Councillor Paul Lobley held his charity fundraising event on 26th February. The venue was the Sea Fish restaurant on Cromford Road in the town.
All money raised from the evening through ticket sales, donations and the raffle was donated to Derbyshire Carers Association which is the Mayors chosen charity.
Councillor Lobley said, ‘I was delighted to see so many people attend this charity event to support such an important and worthwhile organisation. The money raised will go to provide additional benefits for unpaid family carers in the county’.
He added, ‘I would like to thank the brilliant staff at Sea Fish Ripley for their kindness and generosity for hosting this event. Also, thank you to everyone who attended, made donations and purchased raffle tickets.’
