Dash cam footage sought for hit-and-run in Ilkeston
Police were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service to reports of an incident at the junction of Milton Street and Cotmanhay Road just before 7pm on Friday, February 8.
On arrival, officers found an elderly woman had been hit by a vehicle and had sustained serious leg injuries. She was taken to hospital by paramedics, where she remains.
The vehicle had failed to stop at the scene and our investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.
Polikce are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or was in the area at the time, to contact us.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone with dash cam footage, or CCTV that covers the area where the incident occurred.
