Police appeal for witnesses after trees and plants are stolen from Derby Garden Centre.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a number of trees and plants were stolen from Derby Garden Centre.
The incident happened overnight between Sunday, August 12 and Monday, August 13 when someone climbed over the fencing at the centre on Alfreton Road, Little Eaton, Derby and removed a number of trees and plants.
The theft is being investigated by PC Sarah Browne, who said: “Some of the trees stolen were quite large and would probably needed to have been loaded on to a van type vehicle.
“I would ask if anyone saw anything suspicious that night, has seen similar trees appear in someone’s garden or has been offered any items for sale similar to those in the attached photos, that they make contact with me.”
