Knife brandished during aggravated Kilburn burglary
We’re appealing to the public for help in identifying the culprit of a cowardly attack on an elderly gentleman within his own home.
Between 4.30pm and 5pm on Tuesday, April 3, a boy – aged around 17/18 – entered a house on Hillcrest Drive in Kilburn without permission.
He demanded money from two men and produced a knife, before proceeding to punch his 66-year-old victim in the face.
Thankfully, the man suffered only minor injuries.
The boy is described as white, 17/18-years-old, 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build. He has black hair with a tangled fringe.
DC Richard Marshall said: “There’s a good chance this boy is local to the area and could well have been with a group.
“Someone will hear this description and have an idea who it could be. I urge them to get in touch.”
If you have any information, please call Richard on 101 quoting reference 18000149737.
Alternatively, send him a message online through the Contact Us page of the website, by clicking here.
You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
