Mackworth police hold Community and Crime Prevention event in local Co-op
Police officers from the Mackworth and Morley Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding a community and crime prevention event in the local Co-op store.
The event, part of a series of ‘Street Meets’, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21 at the Co-op store, Prince Charles Avenue, Mackworth.
PCSO Jenny Sadler from the team, explained: “We are always out and about in both Mackworth and Morley and try to speak to as many people as possible. On this occasion we thought it would be good to be able to be in a set place at a set time so that members of the community can come and have a chat.
“We will be available to give out general crime prevention advice or discuss any policing issue that may be of worry to residents.”
The team will be in the store between 1pm and 2pm and then again between 6pm and 7pm.
