Funtopia Soft Play Centre Opens At The Genesis Centre, Alfreton
Funtopia is the refurbished Soft Play Centre at The Genesis Family Entertainment Centre, Kings Street, Alfreton, DE55 7DQ and it’s relaunching on Monday 19th February!
Funtopia is under new management – Pick ‘n’ Mix Events which is an events entertainment company based in Chesterfield. The company offers entertainment to the commercial and corporate industry nationwide. Pick ‘n’ Mix Events also runs Funtopia Festival, which is a large children’s festival which tours the UK throughout the summer.
“We have been looking to open up a soft play centre in our home town for a few years now” explains Sarah the company director. “Our company focuses on providing reasonably priced children’s entertainment with a difference. Funtopia Soft Play is ‘Much More Than a Soft Play Centre’, we are also hosting fun children’s activities everyday of the week, plus seasonal events every month. We’re even looking at hosting a Funtopia Festival in Alfreton!”
Funtopia shall be holding a fantastic launch week for the whole February half term (Mon 19th – Sunday 25th). Entry to soft play is £3.50 per child for 2 hours. Included in the entrance fee there shall also be carnival games, glitter tattoos, a bouncy castle, characters, candy floss and popcorn.
The new opening times for Funtopia is 10am-6pm daily and 10am-5pm on Sundays. Funtopia and the café will now be fully supervised at all times as well!
The onsite café shall have a brand new menu as well with local, fresh produce on sale as well as daily specials!
