DLRAA Receives A Donation From MFN Club 2017
On Saturday 11th November 2017, The MFN Club donated £302.78 to Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

Malcom “The Duke” Allured (Founder Member and Former drummer of Showaddywaddy) and club owner now with his own great new Rock & Roll Band the Fockers presented Richard Fletcher Volunteer Derbyshire Community Representative for DLRAA, with the cheque at the MFN Club at Shipley Gate, on their End of Season Bash Live Music Night and Bands Cocked N Loaded and the Fockers played some of their hit songs. The donation was raised over the last 12 months from regular collections for the DLRAA from the many customers & visitors to the club. Malcom said “I want to thank everyone who has helped raise this money for the DLRAA and hopes this continues as you never know when you may need the Air Ambulance”.
Richard said: “I was delighted to be presented with the cheque from Malcom “The Duke” Allured. DLRAA relies entirely on donations from members of the public as it receives no Government or National Lottery funding, therefore support from people such Malcom and MFN Club really is invaluable and goes a long way to helping to keep our lifesaving service flying and this donation will help us to save a life
DLRAA was formed in 2008 and attend approximately five rescue missions every day, from horse riding accidents, to road traffic collisions, to sports injuries, falls, and many more –and has carried out more than 9,100 rescue missions and saved many lives in the process, each rescue mission costing on average £1,700.
