Revolution display is updated
A fascinating display in Amber Valley Borough Council’s Ripley headquarters has been updated to provide an even more detailed insight into the Pentrich Revolution, which took place 200 years ago.
A display was created for the headquarters reception earlier in the year to commemorate the bicentenary of the event. That display has now been updated to feature the stories of some of the main characters in the Revolution.
The Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution Group, are behind the display and there are various supporting leaflets and newsletters to provide further information for people who are interested.
This Group’s work is supported by a grant of £66,000 from The Heritage Lottery Fund.
